The Chrysalis: “The Possibility of Growing Wings”

The Chrysalis art installation is a space that invites people to experience transformation. It is a story-world combining sound, image and touch that activates our senses.

In the Chrysalis, we follow the journey of a caterpillar morphing into a butterfly. We connect to an intense longing for shedding our old form. We ask and feel: what does it mean to stop crawling and start growing wings? What can this experience show us about our story as humans in our relationship with the Earth? What do we need to let go of, before a new possibility can emerge?
